Of course, the celebration has ended after this year's electrifying PPMIV final, which saw six players battle it out for first place. Speaking of firsts, this tournament marked the first time during the regular season World Poker Tour™ that two players would be able to top the million-dollar mark.

With a total prize pool of $7.43 million and 735 players, PPMIV really was anyone's to win when the cruise ship Oosterdam sailed from San Diego pier. However, on the final table, it all came down to two players and a calculating battle of youth versus maturity. Youth won out as Michael Gracz, a 24-year-old recent graduate of North Carolina State, outlasted 54-year-old rocket engineer David Minto of Alamogordo, New Mexico to claim the $1.5 million first prize. Minto had to console himself with the $1 million second place award.

Of the 735 players who took part in the world's largest Limit Texas Hold'em tournament, 668 qualified online at PartyPoker.com™. These online qualifiers won their $10,200 buy-in to the finals and a cruise for two by winning preliminary online satellite tournaments with entries starting from $8. In addition to Gracz and Minto, more than 180 players cashed in on the massive prize pool.
